What a fabulous start to this week!
Meadows have had a wonderful time sharing the Traditional Tale of Jack and the Beanstalk!
We have learnt about colour mixing and had a great time creating different shades of green for Jack’s Beanstalk! We have planted our own ‘magic beans’ in the hope that they will grow into huge beanstalks, just like Jack’s! We are excited to observe each stage of the growing process.
Next Week:
Focus Story: The Little Red Hen- Traditional Tale
Adult Led: Make bread rolls-follow a recipe and recall the process
Maths: Focus number 4 and Number patterns-sequence the story and other experiences like getting dressed and brushing teeth.
Literacy: Recognising initial sounds and reading simple CVC words- red, hen, cat, dog,
EAD/PD: Make a mask to wear to the dance
PSED: Building relationships- understanding how to help find solutions to conflicts and rivalries.
Gentle Reminder
As the weather improves……
Thank you to those who have already brought into school sun protection cream. We find the ‘roll-on’ types are easier to apply than sprays and lotions. If you have not already done so, please ensure that the bottle is clearly named and hand it to an adult. For safety, please do not leave them in school bags.
Please also bring in a clearly named sun hat.
Both sun cream and hats are to be left at school this term if possible please.
Have a safe and enjoyable weekend!
