This week Meadows classroom has been transformed into a train station and the children travelled to some far away places, as well as some spots nearby! They have gone on the train to Sudan, Ukraine, Poland, London and Paris, as well as Centre Parks and McDonalds!
We looked at different trains from various countries and compared steam trains to super-fast trains, and shared our experiences of travelling by rail. We asked questions like: ”Where do you go to catch the train? How do you buy the ticket?”
With the weather improving, Meadows enjoyed playing outdoors in the sunshine and building obstacle courses and playing hopscotch.

Notices
As the weather gets warmer and sunnier, could you please bring in a clearly labelled sun hat and protective sun cream (ideally roll on sun cream as it’s most efficient and can be applied with ease). The cream is not to be left in your child’s bag but handed to a member of staff. Also, do you have any spare clothes you could donate to us? We are in desperate need of socks, trousers and tops.
Have a lovely and restful weekend!
