We continued to discuss the fairytale of Goldilocks this week, where children shared out the lead roles and acted out the very exciting story.

Have a conversation at home with the family, do you think Goldilocks was right or wrong to go into the Bear’s House?

On Thursday we also read a story by Pat Hutchins, The Doorbell Rang. Ma baked 12 cookies that had to be shared equally amongst all those children who arrived at the house. Luckily, there were enough cookies baked, and what is more, there was a real cookie for everyone in the class to eat! What a treat!

We have another sunny and hot week ahead of us. There is not much shade on the playground.

Please, remember to bring a named SUNHAT for your child and a named SUNCREAM. We ask you to apply suncream before your child comes to the setting, and we will support them to reapply it after lunch. We cannot provide suncream for children if they have not got one in nursery. Thank you!

Next week, we will be celebrating INTERNATIONAL MUD DAY! Nursery children will have the opportunity to play in mud on MONDAY.
Make sure your child comes in clothes that can get messy and has SPARE CLOTHES AND TOWEL IN A NAMED BAG, we will be washing the dirt off at the end of the session:)

If you have any spare, old towels you do not need anymore, we welcome donations for this event!

Thank you
The Nursery Team
