In English this week, we enjoyed another action-packed adventure by Traction Man and Turbo Dog. We focused on writing sentences using capital letters, finger spaces and full stops.
In Maths this week, we have been learning to count backwards and one less than any number between 0-10.
In English next week, our focus text will be the ‘Jolly Postman’ by J and A Ahlberg. We will continue to focus on making progress with writing simple sentences, applying a capital letter at the beginning and a full stop at the end.

In Maths next week, we will be learning how to compare groups by matching and using the vocabulary fewer, more, same, less than, greater than and equal to.
Reading books
New reading books have been given out today. These will be changed fortnightly on Friday mornings only. Please make time to enjoy reading together on a daily basis.
Gentle Reminder
Please ensure that only healthy snack that are completely nut free are brought to school. This should preferably be fruit or vegetables.
