Ms Lauren Redgewell – I began working at an out of school club when I was at university, where I discovered I had a passion for working with children. I became the EYFS Coordinator at this club, a role I held for many years, which helped me develop my enthusiasm for early years education.

I am autistic and I use my lived experience of navigating school as a neurodivergent child to help shape my role as a Learning Coach. I am passionate about creating an empathetic and supportive environment where children can thrive and feel truly understood and listened to. I also work as an emotional literacy support assistant (ELSA) as an extension of my interest in helping children understand themselves and their emotions better, while providing a nurturing and safe space.
I am an avid reader and secondhand book collector. I enjoy being out in nature and especially love being around big trees. I am a huge Pokemon fan, with a big Pokemon collection and a love for playing all of the video games. Even the old ones on my childhood console from around twenty years ago! I am also a big fan of Studio Ghibli movies, my current favourite is Ponyo (but it changes all the time)!
