Mrs Ellen Ridings – I am currently a Senior Leader at the University of Cambridge Primary School, leading UKS2 as well as the STEM team. Before taking on this role, I previously led both KS1 and LKS2, where I was able to teach children across a range of ages. Working and leading across the school has been a privilege as I am able to have a deep understanding of our school systems and what works well.
Before joining UCPS, I taught in year 5 and 2 at a primary school in Bishop’s Stortford. I studied Primary Education (BEd) at the University of Hertfordshire where I graduated with QTS in 2015. Further to this, UCPS supported me to complete my masters in Mathematics Education at the University of Cambridge in 2024.
Outside of school, I enjoy cooking, going to the gym and spending time with my family.
