Ms Elise Kinnear – After completing a law degree at the University of Oxford, I worked as a barrister specialising in child and family law with a particular interest in child protection work. I subsequently completed an MA in International Child Studies at King’s College, London and contributed to a research project addressing the impact of Covid-19 on child safeguarding.
I am passionate about protecting and promoting children’s welfare and rights and supporting them to reach their full potential. I have a PGCE from the University of Cambridge and am also a qualified EAL teacher. I am an advocate of life-long learning and enjoy drawing on my skills and experience to help bring learning alive for the children in my class.
