Mrs Soobia Fawad – I am a Learning Coach at the University of Cambridge primary school, working primarily with key stage 2 children, mainly in a 1:1 or small group setting. My role involves assisting the children with their learning and building their confidence by encouraging them to take a more independent approach to their daily tasks, whilst still providing them with the support they need.
Before joining the school, I spent many years working in early years education. I value hard work and try to embody my love of teaching in my work every day. I have completed a variety of training modules such as training in phonics. I enjoy seeing the impact this makes on the children.
Outside of school, I enjoy going on walks, going to the gym, reading and gardening.
