Mr Matteo Spezialetti

Hi! I am Mr Spezialetti and I am proud to be a teacher at the University of Cambridge Primary School. Before this role, I taught in a school on the fringe of London, as well as having been a Creative in marketing. I love being a teacher because it lets me be my creative self, and I get to talk and discuss lots of amazing topics with my classes!

At university, I studied Languages (English and Spanish) as it is one of my passions. I love learning about different languages and their culture, which is something I want to keep promoting in the school as a part of my role in the Languages team.

Afterwards, I went on to get a Masters in Creative Writing, which was an incredible journey and developed my love for reading and writing even more, which I plan to share and promote in the school as part of my Reading and Writing leadership role.

Outside of school, I enjoy reading, especially Victorian classics and fantasy, playing video games and writing. I also love to explore the big questions about our universe and never turn down a good space documentary!
