Mr Matt Beattie – Hi my name is Matt. I have lived in Cambridge my entire life, going to school in Cherry Hinton, then secondary school at Netherhall. I subsequently studied at Anglia Ruskin University, receiving a BA in History. I have had many jobs in my career, but am proud to say I was here from day one in 2015, so have seen all the different phases in the growth of this amazing school.
I started as a learning coach for the first few years before receiving the opportunity to become the inaugral cover supervisor, covering all the wonderful teachers and now specialising in delivering the computing curriculum. As part of this role I get the opportunity to meet most of the children and love getting to know all about them.
In my spare time I play rugby for Cantabs rugby club and dabble in a bit of 5-a-side football, whilst also going to the gym, reading books, playing the odd video game and looking after my infant son. Please do feel free to come introduce yourselves if you see me around!
